Marathon Sunday/St Georges Day

Afternoon everyone - nearly tea time here, but just enough time for me to have a few minutes here.

Well, the Marathon seems to have gone by without any glitches, perfect conditions for all those runners - wet & cool. Every year I watch parts of it & every year I think to myself "that's going to be me there next year" - and maybe it will, if I ever get accepted!! I'm not giving up hope - I will be 40 later this year & have it in my mind that next year's Marathon will be the one for me :)

Had a fabulous day yesterday at a Working With Angels Workshop, met some lovely people & we all felt relaxed enough in each others company to make use of the day. I did some meditation (will definitely need to practice on this), worked with crystals and chakras, and some basic Angel readings.

Have never explored the chakras before, even though I have a full crystal healing kit, but was completely enthralled at how different a crystal pendulum will react depending on the balance of each main chakra. Am now the proud owner of a crystal pendulum, so watch out all who know me - I'll be checking out your chakras !!!

Of course, it will all take some time for me to understand fully, but the little experience I did have was enough to give me food for thought. Anything is possible if you're in the right place, right frame of mind, to attain it.

With that thought I am going to think of all my friends, from various communities, and send you all warm angelic wishes.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter to all out there.

This image really tickled me - it's from a craft friend on Alter Native, I just had to share it LOL!!

Had my 1st chocolate in 40 days - it's rather sickly when you've not had it for so long, but I've only a few eggs to get through so will just take my time. Will save my favourite, Green & Black's Organic Milk until the last ....mm..mmmmm!

The kids have loads, so I can see me limiting their intake - for health reasons, of course ;)

Well not much going on here today, will go relax & read for a while, desperately trying to finish Fiery Cross, Diana Gabaldon - long slow story!

Entering Into The Unknown

Well, everyone else is blogging, so I thought why not have a go myself. I'm not even sure if I'm doing it properly LOL!!!, but as I have to make a post before I can preview my blog, then that's what I'm doing. So apologies for my ramblings on my first entry.

Good Friday, and we did have plans to try Chessington World of Adventures as I got free vouchers from Woolworths, but it's really dull & overcast so we're probably going to go to see Ice Age 2. I have loads of things I'd like to catch up on, so a semi-filled day suits fine, plus I'm feeling a little green from too much wine last night.

Well, that's about as exciting as my morning is - let's go see if this works ;)
